hi has anyone bricked their phone by trying to update the rom and then it just stays on bootloader and i have tried hard setting it it anyone has a soloution please tell me thanks

I'm having a problem when I'm receiving files through bluetooth from Nokia and other brands. When I try to save the received file/s, I don't know where it went. Tried looking on My Documents Folder on phone and memory card. But, it's not there or in any other locations. Could someone please tell me why?

I have been using this phone for years. It is a very good phone. The only bad points are:
The headphone socket is on the right hand side of the phone. Which if like me you are right handed it is awkward when the headphones are plugged in if you hold the phone in your hand. Other than that the only other bad point is that the volume up/down buttons on the top left hand side can accidently be pressed even when the key pad is locked.
Still a great but now slightly outdated smartphone.

I have had this phone since December 2003. It is great. However, I am now planning to replace it with the sexy Qtek 8500 (the black flip-up smartphone) or perhaps the Gigabyte G-Smart (AKA Ubiquio 401). I am now starting to find it just a bit slow and a bit heavy. Plus I want a flip-up or slide phone. Considering how old it is though, it's great. Can't fault it. Lovely blue glow on keypad when you press the buttons :-)

I'm having problem wid this phone ..im using imate smartphone 2 similar to dis one...plz can any1 help me....prob is described below....
. I am unable to make calls but can receive calls
2.Can't operate a single thing in my device....this happened because
of.......
When i bought i activated my GPRS so as to use messenger on my
handheld....but i needed yahoo messenger in this so downloaded agile
messenger on my PC and connected my handheld through data cable and copied the
file into it.My device was still on data cable and i open the agile
messenger file to install it but it gave the error "NOT A VALID WINDOWS CE
APPLICATION" , then there was an option "associate the file" (in my
phone) i clicked that and selected app.exe(application manager) but it
still didn't worked.So i thought i would take space so i deleted the file
and from that day onwards my phone never showed any response.It starts
and comes to desktop but when i open anything it doesnt respond.
plzz people u gotta help me to bring this phone back to life

I use this phone as SPV e200 with orange. The active sync is really great. However the phone has slow to answer any command, and bug too often. A phone MUST be able to receive calls all the time. The worst is the battery. After 6 month it just stop to work. After 1 and a half year I had to have a 4th battery. So I decided to stop using the warranty and wasting my time.

Great phone, can't live without it. Too bad the battery only lasts for 1 day and the keyboard is mailfunctioning a lot.
When they fix the keyboard and the standby time, my next one will be a qtek also.

i've bought qtek 8080 a couple of months ago.
my opinion is that, considering its price, it is a good solution to have with you a small device that allows you to navigate the web and to manage e-mails. i've experienced only one problem: among the technical features is described the built in hands free (i.e. loudspeaker enabled during the phone calls) that it seems not working (when you select it from the menu, the device switches to "normal" operating mode). any suggestion for superseeding this problem? (i've already upgraded the sw)

Hello, It can be buy it in expansys... but my question is: Where is another smartphone with SD slot??? all others have miniSD but not this one.

Cant get it to work with bluetooth on my friends SnyEricsson S700i, neither the IR.
The quality of the sound, when you talk, also including the headset is poor and pixel errors on the screen, 3 of them.
Hope I can get my money back !
