Helllo,
I want to buy it, but i am not convinced yet. Please help me with some answers. I am used with Nokia 6680 and I like some features my phone has. Does the 8310 have :
1: an alt+tab like feature ? (easilly accesibile through a shortcut, to swing between the applications opened)
2: an alternative application for reading plain .txt files ? (I read this and i don'tlike it : "ClearVue Document: It opens documents created in Microsoft Word. Unfortunately, this browser is designed to show pages on the small display in the original layout, which makes the usage of the joystick inevitable. Viewing document's content as a plain text would have definitely been more practic")
Thank you so much, CM

8310 is a correct phone, but mobile 5 phone edition is tragedy. Call history without time for anz call(only last call), SMS management, posible options in setup, etc. In 9100 is a much more usable op system, pda edition. So I use 9100 and nokia smartphones,

i think this is an amazing phone, the fact that skype doesnt work with it is a very minor problem... if you wanna use skype then use your pc, or pay for your calls like normal people

Love this phone -but the joystick is not the most responsive even from day one.
Apart from that- I do not think you will get a better phone for the price .

It's very good and small.
The bad points , according to me is
1.The cpu is only 200MHz(remember, this is a Win Mobile, not a Symbian one)
2.No 3G functions

To Hani G:
EASIEST way to get the SMS working is to have someone send an sms to YOU. If the sending person is on the same provider as you, the message centre number will automatically set, and after that, you can use SMS perfectly.
