Same thing, speakers stopped working, and I have a friend that had the same thing with his one. I think it's because of my musical showers, so this explains that the humidity went in my speakers and *\}:|*/

My speakers also stopped working, I send my S200 to a repair shop of Qtec in Belgium and everything was repaired under guaranty!
got my S200 back after 3 weeks
does anyone has some games or ringtones for me or can you recommend a website with free downloads?

This phone is great except the service!
I bought Qtek S200, in Sep 2006, and the speakers went dumb like many others!
I sent the phone for repair at HTC, UK (http://service.htceurope.com), after receiving the green signal, that the phone is warratied!
After 9 days, I received a bill for £48.50, saying HTC do not have the warranty for the supplied product, even though they said it is under the warratied period!
Now, to get back the phone without repair, I have to pay them £31!!!
It’s not a service, rather its cheating and harassment!!
I am going to the consumer court to protect my consumer rights!

same here, speaker just stop working for no reason. anyone know if there's any locations can repair the speaker for Qtek s200, any help will be really appreciated.

The same thing happened to me....speaker just stopped working for no reason...sometimes it works randomly but most times it doesn't...is there anything anyone knows about this??? I bought the phone on ebay and cannot get support from QTEK...so am I just screwed???? HELP Please!!!!

Hello, I have had my s200 for a month now and I have a problem. About two weeks ago my speaker stopped working. My device no longer rings (only vibrates) and speaker phone option is now useless. Can anyone tell me why this is happening (I have not dropped it, gotten it wet or anything). I wouls gladly appreciate any help. I really do not want to have to get a new phone (I love how compact this one is). Thank you

hi all ,
i have got a problem.
I used to use mp3 files as ring tones in my Qtek S200.Now the same files when i setting it as ring tone , they are not getting played as ring tone.The phone is not taking it as the ring tone file .Instead each time i set the ring tone a mp3 song , it sets back to windows default.And moreover previuosly , when i copy a song to the mobile folder ,automatically it gets associated with windows media player format,now it is showing me as a no format file.It is not showing associated with any software.I installed some mpeg players ,since then i observed this.Now i have removed them .Even then , i cant use the mp3 songs as my ring tones.

I've had this phone for a month now. I've had no problems so far. The phone is great, good features and i even have a few games in it. Good quality overall.

I have got the phone for months now and I love it but the headset is no good. I shorted out the left speaker on it and the same happened to the replacement, just today. Could any one tell me if the Jabra BT620s - Bluetooth® stereo headset works with the media player built in to the phone? I would like to buy one.

Got back from Zurich a month ago. Wanted to buy a S200 over there but all were in German... So I waited to get back home (Montreal) and bought one here. Very hard to find, took me 2 weeks and only found one place in Canada over the net.
I was told back in Zurich that you have to go to the Microsoft web site to download the package in your desired language and install it. Takes too much memory to have various languages packages on the device so you have to re-install something.

yes philippe thats most popular problem of i-mate jamin and qtec s200 , i have this problem . i used my quarantee they change my lcd pannel , faster use quarantee befor it over

To use your own notification sound for the s200, you have to use a .wav file and place it in the windows folder on the phone.
And by the way you need not put your mp3's in the rintone folder to use it as a ring tone. Just put it on your storage card but outside of all sub-folders.
