Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 benchmark performance tipped

Yesterday we got word of what to expect in terms of benchmark performance from Apple's upcoming A19 Pro chip, that will power the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, from the Weibo account Digital Chat Station, a prolific source of mobile-related information.
Today he's back with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 scores. Once again we're talking about Geekbench 6, and Qualcomm's next flagship SoC will allegedly achieve a single-core score over 4,000 and a multi-core score over 11,000.

For reference, note that the Snapdragon 8 Elite usually manages around 3,100 and 9,800, respectively (exact numbers obviously depend on device). The A19 Pro should go to 4,000 single-core score too, but it will be outdone by the Elite 2 in multi-core, only managing around 10,000.
Compared to its predecessor, the Elite 2 will improve the single-core score by about 20-30% and the multi-core score by about 10-15%. Not huge numbers, but nothing to scoff at either. The Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 will be announced in late September, while the A19 Pro will launch in the upcoming iPhones during the same month, most likely - and September is also when MediaTek is apparently unveiling its next flagship SoC, incidentally.

Meanwhile Geekbench 6 shows higher Multi core scores in 8 elite and you didn't say anything about that. According to your statement, Geekbench is more biased to Snapdragon right? So more higher score means bias? Thats how a classic android fanat...

Overkill performance with overkill price. Just produce 8 elite another year! We really don't need such powerful chip in a phone. Huawei seems to do it alright with their 7nm chip
