Realme 12+ 5G's launch date and design officially revealed

The Realme 12+ 5G that was recently spotted on TENAA and Geekbench will be unveiled on February 29 at an event in Malaysia at 7 PM local time, where Realme will also introduce the Realme 12 Pro+ for the Malaysian market.

Realme's Malaysian branch also posted an image of the Realme 12+ 5G, revealing its design. Unlike the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+, the 12+ has a flat design but sports a circular island on its rear, housing three cameras (main camera having OIS) and flaunting Sunburst Dial.

Realme hasn't detailed the 12+ 5G's specs sheet, but thanks to Geekbench, we know the smartphone will come with the Dimensity 7050 SoC, which, according to TENAA, will be paired with up to 16GB of RAM. You can check the Realme 12+ 5G's specs revealed by TENAA here.

I agree. My Redmi Note 13 Pro is dead flat and it's not as nice to hold as my Pixel 6a. Given we hold out phones whenever we use them, ergonomics are important. I have an Oppo Find X5 and it's nice to hold but I can't stand the curved ...

And ironically the best selling ones have flat screens ... But tbh cruved edges are actually beautiful but not ergonomically.

I just wish they had flat screens with curved backs. If they didn't put curved screens on these phones, their instincts would unfortunately tell them to make the back and sides flat as well.
