Last month, I bought a new unit from realme’s official online store for USD 262, the 8/256 model. After upgrading the firmware, I was disappointed with UI 6. Yesterday, I downgraded to UI 5, and now I can smile again.

Whatever you do, DO NOT update from Realme UI 5 to 6, they ruined the camera. Probably planned obsolescence

I recently bought the phone and more specific the MEA region variant with the NFC and overall I am very glad, compared to my previous Galaxy A54.
The display is way better, brighter, more fluid and vibrant compared to A54, which also had some very noticable greenish tint under some angles. The SoC is perfectly fine for daily use and feels much snappier than Exynos 1380 in A54. The cameras are magnificent, miles better than A54 and the only complain is that the 3x telephoto can be a little inconsistent from time to time, but nothing dramatic.
The battery was initially very disappointing but it looks like it needed 3-4 charge cycles to stabilize. Now after 5-6 cycles the battery life is very good, easily lasting about 2 days with mixed WiFi/5G use, mainly Youtube, camera, local music and messaging. The SoT in my case is about 8 to 9 hours combined for the 2 days. Oh yeah, and the SuperVOOC charging is great, but just like every other fast charging solution it produces significant heat for about 30 minutes.
The only complaint I have is the Viber oftenly stutters diring video calls, which I did not have in A54, but from what I read its a common issue in many other phones - Oneplus, Xiaomi, Nothing, etc. It looks like Viber team bothers optimizing their app only for Samsung and Apple...

Incredible camera, colors are vibrant and lots of detail. The camera has 6x lossless zoom (3x optical), and you can still get decent zoom up to 40x in good light (up to 120x total).

4K@30 Video does not have OIS/ gyro EIS...Thats the biggest flaw
A question for all.please answer
When we are recording a 4K@30fps or 1080p video and we use zoom the video is pixelated
Does it use the Digital Zooming or the Optical 3x Zooming in the video mode?

With all due respect, I've read some comments saying that the Poco X6 Pro is much better for less. If it's in performance, ok, but that's it. And here in Brazil, there are some cases of phones simply stopping working after some time (usually for those who play a lot). The phone heats up and turns off, never coming back. This isn't the first time this has happened with a Poco. And the Poco line has never been focused on cameras. I prefer lower performance and better cameras.

Anonymous, 17 Nov 2024To be more complete phone for the price sold as midrange ,b... moreI struggle to believe that there's still people that do not understand the simple, logical reason for the exclusion of the 3.5mm jack. Dude, they took it out so that you're forced to buy wireless earphones, translating to you paying more money. The same thing goes for the expandable storage. They've taken out the microSD card slot from most phones so that you'll have to pay for cloud storage. So it's very simple: it's all to suck more money out of us.

I don't get it. Why do phone companies do not put 3.5mm headphone jack on midrange smartphones with 1 Billion Color display? Like it's so ridiculous.
