Realme 14 Pro+ review
The competition
The Realme 14 Pro+ launched for 30,000 INR in India and is expected to retail for about €400 in Europe. It is a solid offer with an attractive design, good display and performance, and reliable cameras.
The first alternative offer is, of course, no other than the Redmi Note 14 Pro+, which also retails at about €400. The most powerful Redmi Note 14 Pro+ model has the same chipset but offers a Dolby Vision display, proper 2x in-sensor zoom and faster charging. On the other hand, the Realme 14 Pro+ has an additional zoom camera for optical 3x zoom and better selfie imager. It is a tough choice, and it depends on what you are looking for here - the better screen or the better cameras.
And while we are talking about Xiaomis, let's not forget the €350 Poco X7 Pro, which has the same Dolby Vision screen as the Redmi but comes with flagship performance courtesy of the Dimensity 8400 Ultra. Its cameras are so-so, but this is the one to get if you are after multimedia and gaming. And it is cheaper!
Motorola Edge 50 Pro costs about €450, but it is worth it for its superb design, 144Hz screen, good cameras and long-lasting battery life. The clean Android is also a nice touch.
Finally, you may also consider the OnePlus Nord 4, which has a similarly great screen but offers a more powerful chipset at the expense of the zoom camera. It is not as water-resistant as the Realme 14 Pro+, though.

Our verdict
The Realme 14 Pro+ is a niche offering right now because of its limited availability. The maker was once a real challenger to the Redmi series, but now that only holds true for the Indian market.
The 14 Pro+ is a well-rounded device with a bright OLED screen, good performance, versatile and reliable camera experience day and night. Realme UI is familiar, and the user experience is always smooth.
The phone is not ideal, though. Its battery life is not up to par, its speakers' sound quality is mediocre, and the camera video quality is average at best.
Still, we think that the Relame 14 Pro+ is a good alternative to the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ for its many cameras and solid execution, so we recommend exploring it if you are looking for a phone priced around €400. And if you live in India, you should definitely put it on your shortlists.

Yeah I pretty much agree but I don't think that's the case here with this phone since I'm already using it and don't have any complains (other than the lack of ir sensor) and also other reviews on YouTube show much better results ...

It is much more likely that this unit is defective. And it would be very easy to realize that.
