Realme 14x's launch date, design, and price segment officially revealed
Last week, a leaked image of the Realme 14x revealed its design and colors, with the source claiming the smartphone would go on sale in India starting December 18. Today, Realme confirmed that date and announced that the Realme 14x will launch in India next Wednesday as India's first IP69-rated smartphone under INR15,000 ($175/€165).
Additionally, Realme said the Realme 14x takes inspiration from the "tough beauty of diamonds" and sports a back panel that "reflects the luster of crystals and gems under different angles of sunlight."
Realme also revealed the marketing names of the three colors the 14x would come in - Crystal Black, Golden Glow, and Jewel Red.
Realme didn't detail the 14x's specs sheet, but rumors claim the smartphone will come with a 6.67" HD+ LCD and 6,000 mAh battery. It will have three memory configurations - 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB. Needless to say, it will be the base version that will be priced under INR15,000 ($175/€165), with others likely costing more.
We expect Realme to reveal a few more features of the 14x before its December 18 launch.
