Realme 1, Realme 2 Pro, Realme U1 to get Nightscape Mode by June

When the Realme 3 was announced earlier this month, it was the first smartphone by the new company with Android Pie out of the box. Now three more devices will join the party with updates scheduled to arrive by the end of H1 2019. Madhav Sheth, CEO at Realme India, reminded on Twitter Realme 1, Realme 2 Pro, Realme U1 will receive the update that will bring Nightscape mode.

When Realme 3 was introduced on March 4, the company boasted about sending 35 OTA updates in its first 9 months. It was the first time the promise for Android Pie was made, and now thanks to Mr Sheth’s reminder, we know which devices will also get ColorOS 6 and its accompanying Nightscape mode that is currently available only in the Realme 3.

The Realme family is about to get even bigger, as Realme 3 Pro is expected to arrive in April. It is likely the 48 MP cameraphone, rumored in the early days of 2019. We don’t know any actual specs, but it should be faster than the Helio P70-powered Realme 3 and we hope for some VOOC fast charging and a USB-C port.
