Realme 2 Pro stops by Geekbench running Android 9.0 Pie

Ro, 31 January 2019

Realme promised to update its smartphones within the first half of 2019 and it looks like it's trying to keep up with the tight schedule. As expected, the Realme 2 Pro will be the first handset to get the Pie update as it's the company's most expensive device.

A Geekbench scorecard lists the phone rocking a Snapdragon 660 chipset with 4GB of RAM and Android 9.0 Pie. We know it's the Realme 2 Pro because their software build numbers start with RMX and the it's the only Realme smartphone featuring that chipset.

Perhaps the update is closer than we anticipated - let's hope the testing phase doesn't get prolonged by unexpected bugs.

It would've been a decent phone if it had NFC and ditched the plastic body.
