I'm still using it since 2... moreIt is a good phone for basic use, but if a user needs NFC or/and 5G, or a good camera, then Realme 5 isn't that good and needs to be changed for something newer. I had this model too before not having NFC became a real problem.

This phone is a... moreHello Boss, there's not a single gadget in the entire world which gives constant performance year after year, even our body also lags after some years so it's not an issue. To be Frank enough i still use the phone & recently i recorded a 4K video of a seminar, people appreciated the whole quality & pixel densities alot. They even said you don't need a iPhone which was a huge compliment. So you have to accept it that whatever you have that's a Diamond, if you go on comparisons then you'll never get satisfaction in life.

I bought this smartphone in December 2019.
This phone is already three years old and still functional, but it is slowing down after only two years.
I think it's time to buy a new smartphone.

i have this phone since the release (so it's been 3 years and couple of months) and it's still functioning.
however, you can see that the performance of the phone is already deteriorating after 2 years. the charging speed is not too fast anymore, it lags at times, there are times where the screen just....freeze.
imo this phone is good if you are looking for a phone just for daily stuff or for school. though tbh it's better if you look for other phones because you can find a phone with better specs for the same amount of money.
i game a lot and i gotta say, don't even think of buying this to play games. the ram is not good for playing mmo or fps games especially when the required ram for the games to run smoothly with high quality graphics is around 8-16gb ram these days. still, if you set the graphics of the games to the lowest, it would be bearable to play those games. not much of a problem if you are playing just those color switch type of games though.
over all, it depends if with the purpose of your use for this phone. if it's for gaming, better find a better one. if it's just for work or for school, it ain't bad.

One of my very best phone i ever purchased.its performance is the same for the first day up to 3 years now. The only thing that deteriorated a little bit is the battery but still enough to complete the day with me.

Phone : Realme 5 3/64 (2+ yrs bought from 18/12/19)
Battery: the best thing about it would be the battery, man if you like binging, this phone suits you.
Screen : Wide, as in Wide
Gaming: Not good, but not bad, the version made it outdated, many apps aren't available for the version
Pretty much almost every game you have to put it lowest, if the game is 500mb+ expect it to lag and overheat.
So CODM, PUBG is tolerable if you know how to set config and gfx.
Genshin and pretty much others with requires greater ram will crash it
Charging : Fast, but not ultra fast, should be >2hrs
Durability: Mine had an issue on adhesive, but surely it's quite rare, it's weather proof but not water proof, they're different.
I haven't use the actual glass since I use protector, never broke it because I used beetle case.
It's plastic back which means it's prone on scratch, can take fall damage, but not expensive to replace.
Camera: Good, but not the best, I must say decent.
Version: Horrible, slow, help
Price to quality : quite balanced I must say, you get what you pay for.
Recommend: 5/10 so many phone on same price are better, like realme c35 too
