Iphone lover, 26 Dec 2019Naa its bad as hell....it doesnt even support hdr unless yo... more im using this phone for 2 months now and yes it can run pubg smooth+extreme and its really smooth ngl..it doesnt support hdr graphic because the soc/chip is new and not optimized..it will be optimized in the upcoming pubg updates

Naa its bad as hell....it doesnt even support hdr unless you play with gfx tool.. and itll still be bad. Smooth + extreme is the best but I dont think this phone supports extreme fps due to the 11nm chip and adreno 610 gpu. spend a little more for the poco f1.

I use this as secondary phone, so I don't play with it as much as my primary one. The best thing of Realme 5 is its battery, it could last more than 2 days and that's the reason I chose it, I don't care with its average specs. Higher class features will only shorten battery performance. It's a cheap phone anyway..

I have been using realme 5 since over half and a month. I have faced the following issues till date.
1. when headphones connected, and you are moving, the volume of sound tracks and even calls will go to zero. Everytime you readjust it, it will go down. Realme claims that the issue is resolved with software update but it is not.
2. When connect headphones, it hangs sometimes. And become normal only when eject headphones.
3. Serious issue with screen brightness and colours when you use it outdoor. And when you go back indoor you will see that the screen brightness and colour has changed into ab irritating yellowish one, which really pinches eyes. The issue get normal after restart. This issue occurs frequently after one months or so of use.
4. Upon regular use, I witnessed apps closing abruptly and by own. This issue usually occurs with WhatsApp.

In this price range, you should buy Redmi Note 8.
It has better better display, more features, better design, better camera and no complaints like Realme 5.

Very decent phone for me (student)
Cheap
Can take acceptable pictures of notes
Can play games (COD, Pubg, ROS etc.)
Can last all day in school even if I play games.
I personally got this instead of Redmi note 7 because of the battery, gaming, 6.5inches screen display, and most especially cheap price.
I know redmi note 7 has 1080p screen display but 720p and 1080p has just little difference trust me. (If u want difference go from 720p to 2160p)
I know redmi note 7 has 48mp cam and realme has 12mp but eh, both realme 5 and redmi note 7 cam has little difference trust me. (just download Gcam in your realme 5 and instantly it will be better than redmi note 7)
I know redmi note 7 has Gorilla glass 5 and Realme 5 has gorilla glass 3 which not that impact resistant but anyway we still buy tempered glass. (Double protection we need to make sure anyway)
I know redmi note 7 wins in gaming but realme 5 can handle the games too not just in ULTRA performance only in AVERAGE-EXCELLENT depending on the game which is fine for us mobile gamers as long as we can play without having to worry about battery.
Overall performance of Redmi note 7 is better if I have to be honest but realme 5 performance is still very acceptable.
