Realme 5's first sale moves over 120,000 units

The Realme 5 went on sale for the first time in India on August 27, and the phone has turned out to be a resounding success for the Oppo spinoff company. Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has triumphantly announced on Twitter that more than 120,000 units of the phone were moved as part of that first sale.

Another sale was planned for later in the day, to appease fans who weren't able to get a device the first time around. The next sale of the Realme 5 is on August 30 at 12 PM local time, when you'll be able to grab one from the company's own official website as well as Flipkart.

The Realme 5's success shouldn't be very surprising, considering the specs it packs for the price. The handset starts at just INR 9,999 (that's around $139 or €126 at the current exchange rates). For that amount of cash you get a 6.5-inch 720x1600 20:9 LCD touchscreen, the Snapdragon 665 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, a 12 MP (wide) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 2 MP (macro) + 2 MP (depth sensor) quad rear camera system, a 13 MP selfie shooter, and a 5,000 mAh battery. The phone runs Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6 on top.

The version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage is priced at INR 10,999 ($153, €138), while the top model with 4/128GB goes for INR 11,999 ($170, €150).

What about him saying sd710>sd855, Macro>telephoto A working professional get much use on 855 with Xtra processing power and would have more use on telephoto rather than macro ? Do u think madhav was right in these things?
