This is my review on realme 6(RMX2001) and realme as a brand. This is my first phone from this brand and this phone is my daily driver for 13 months up until now.
Specs:
The specs is alright. It can run smoothly most of apps on Google play store using the recommend settings (some demanding games might struggle like Genshin Impact, Azur Lane, etc.). The 128 gb storage is more than enough to have as many games, movies , photos, music, other files you want. The camera is decent. The rear cam can record up to 4k30fps.
It has an IPS LCD display no HDR, making it difficult to use outdoors.
Build quality:
The realme 6 display is protected by gorilla glass 3. This is more than sufficient to resist scratches from coins, some keys, other things that you might have on your bag or pocket. It also includes a pre-applied screen protector which I found useless because it is not flushed with the display. The back of the phone is made up of plastic so expect non-premium quality and feel. In my opinion the back side is the most sensitive part of the phone. It has a metal frame so it won't easily break but still be careful if you don't want scratches on your phone, nobody wants scratches on their phone.
Software/UX (user experience):
Before having a realme 6 I have a Vivo V11i. For me FunTouch is better than RealmeUI. It's much simpler, straightforward and has better features despite being Android 8 compared to Realme's Android 10.
Unboxing:
Right out of the box you'll get 1 phone, 1 30W VOOC wall charger, 1 usb 2.0 type-C connector, SIM tray ejector tool, 1 free jelly case, and a user guide and a warranty card. There are NO free earphones whatsoever. It's a shame that they didn't even bother giving free earphones despite the phone having a 3.5mm jack. Some brands give free earphones despite not having a 3.5mm jack.
Issues:
As I already mentioned, I've been using this phone for 1 year and 1 month, everyday, at an average of 18 hours a day.
The phone is starting to slow down after a few months of use which is expected. But the major problem here is I often experience a very noticeable and annoying lag just by opening any app.
Another issue is there are ads everywhere. Like ads from apps you've downloaded from the play store and ads you see when browsing the internet is not enough, realme has decided it was a good idea to put ads on the default file manager and settings, keep in mind that you can turn this off by going to settings but this is turned on by default, and as a first impression this is definitely not a good one.
Lack of customer service/support. Recently my type-c connector broke, so obviously I have to by a new one. I wanted to buy the same connector for the best compatibility but I can't find one. I've scoured multiple online shopping sites but they don't sell one (only fakes that doesn't support 30W charging), I even went to the nearest realme branch but they are out of stock.
This phone was released March, 2020. But 7 months later they released th realme 7 lineup which is a little step up from the realme 6 lineup. The only major difference is the battery and chipset. I was a little upset, for me that means that there will be no new features for realme 6 which turned out to be true. I only got mandatory security updates from Google. RealmeUI 2.0 never came.
My verdict:
The realme 6 is kinda niche/wildcard. Sure it is fast enough to run the popular games on 60 fps. I'm not going to recommend buying this phone but I can recommend it as an "option". It focuses more on the essentials making it a decent budget phone, but don't expect too much, there will be compromises. I might sound a little harsh about realme but I hope someone from realme can read this and take this criticism to improve their product.

Read the reviews & bought as update for Galaxy S4. Very happy with purchase, get 2 days use out of it & only charge for 30 mins in the morn (from 30% to full) every 2nd day. Works like a dream & does what it says. Highly recommend for updaters. We can now install ALL the latest apps. Banking is now Awesome! Covid tracking app actually works now. New Fitness apps now avail due to Android 10. Best purchase ever!

Bought it for 120€ and I'm impressed. This is so far a lot better than I expected. The UI is lag free and smooth, the screen looks really good and it gets really bright and the cameras take pretty nice pictures compared to a Note 9. The signal strength dBm is very similar to the Note 9, the calls are clear and the mic is pretty good at its job.
The auto-brightness seems a little big buggy at times, jumping from dim to half brightness depending on what you're watching. The concert hall effect/echo on the 3.5mm jack is due to an update activating the Real Sound Technology. The issue is fixed by simply turning it off in the sound settings. So far it's still on Android 10 with the April update.

thrillmonger, 11 Jun 2021games look too good and have good fps for about 5 mins in g... morePerhaps you use too many background app? When you're playing especially a large application, make sure to close those background apps and refresh your phone. Refresh, not restart. For it to perform well. Any phone, even if it is a gaming phone like Asus RoG, if you are to play a large application with another large application on the background, it will definitely be laggy and/or, make the temperature of the phone increase.
