Realme 6i and mysterious RMX2063 pop up on Geekbench

Realme recently introduced its 6-series phones which bring impressive specs like 64MP main cameras, 90Hz displays and 30W fast charging at compelling price points. The company is also gearing up to introduce a Realme 6i as evident by a detailed FCC listing which revealed the phone’s design and key specs. Now, the very same phone was spotted on Geekbench alongside another upcoming Realme phone bearing the RMX2063 model number.

The Realme 6i (model number RMX2040) packs the MediaTek Helio G70 chipset with 4GB RAM and Android 10. It managed 345 points in the single-core test and 1,293 points on the multi-core trial. The FCC listing from two weeks ago also showed us the phone will sport a waterdrop notch on its display, 4 rear cameras with a 48MP main shooter, a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging speeds, microUSB connector and a headphone jack.

The second Geekbench listing for the upcoming RMX2063 device shows a phone with 8GB RAM that runs Android 10 out the box. The chipset is an unnamed Qualcomm model running at 1.8Ghz base frequency with the “atoll” motherboard which corresponds to the Snapdragon 720G chipset. They just keep making them bigger and bigger. I can see people walking with TV like sized phones in the near future if we continue like this... Srsly wtf... Anything above 150 mm in lentgh is stupidly large. I mean, it's OK to make large phones here ...
