Realme announces launch date of GT 6T

Realme promised the GT 6T will be India's first Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 smartphone, and now we have an official launch date. The company revealed the smartphone will arrive next Wednesday, May 22 at 12 noon IST.

The official info came alongside the first image of the phone, revealing the design and a 50 MP camera we've seen on the Realme GT Neo6 SE – a phone launched in China with the same Qualcomm chipset. There is a reasonable suspicion then that the two are actually the same device.

Realme said the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset can score over 1.5 million on AnTuTu and even claimed it is a "flagship Qualcomm processor for peak gaming performance", despite the fact there are mightier platforms from the San Diego chip maker.

Meanwhile the GT 6T appeared on Geekbench with 12 GB RAM and scoring 4,499 for multiple CPU cores.

We expect to learn more features about the GT 6T in the following days but if it is the GT Neo6 SE, we can expect a 6.78" LPTO AMOLED panel, a 5,500 mAh battery with 100W charging and Realme UI 5.0 with Android 14 straight out of the box.

The Realme GT 6T will be sold on Amazon India, as the online store had already set up a landing page for it.
