Realme C63 5G brings Dimensity 6300 and 120Hz LCD
The Realme C63 made its debut back in May and it is now joined by an updated C63 5G in India which brings a few upgrades including the Dimensity 6300 chipset but also some spec downgrades in the cameras and battery charging speeds.

Realme C63 5G is built around a 6.67-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The back houses a 32MP main cam using a 1/3.1 inch sensor and f/1.85 aperture. It is joined by an unspecified auxiliary sensor while the front houses an 8 MP selfie shooter.

The phone is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery but it only charges at up 10W speeds, unlike the 45W on the regular C63. Realme is also offering a free charger in the box. The phone boots Android 14 with Realme UI 5.0 on top
Realme C63 5G comes in Starry Gold and Forest Green colors. Pricing in India starts at INR 10,999 ($130) for the 4/128GB model and goes up to INR 12,999 ($155) for the 8/128GB version. Open sales are scheduled for August 20 from Realme India and Flipkart.

What he means by saying it's confusing is that if only need to make a 4G variant, why not just remove the 5G capability instead of having to make a new variant that is different from the original version, such as different in chipset, camera, me...

It's not confusing. Consumers know the difference between 4G vs 5G. 5G as a standard is most likely going to increase the lifespan of the device for users who uses their devices for more than 3 years.

At this price point it directly competes with moto g34 and some of it's own which are now available at some discounts. How did realme even consider a 10 watt charger is beyond understanding. Camera would surely be incomparable to g34 and other s...
