              What is the difference between this and the Realme GT Neo5? I see they are almost the same just different storage options and this has almost double the price.

                WR14, 07 May 2023Isn't identical to the Neo 5, but the Neo 5 is only so... moreI think is basically the same, but with better carrier support than the chiniese version, (for example, in my country it would be only compatible fully with 4g, but with 3g, that still is pretty dominant outside of cities, is really limited.

                  Heard that this phone will have a pro variant. Realme takes a long time to release the global version of their phones though. I'm not sure if I should wait for that or just buy the Poco F5 pro

                    The previous Realme GT2 has serious bugs in gaming titles (stutter/poor performance) introduced in the later firmware releases after initial release that Realme has done nothing about and it's a real dealbreaker if you'd wanted to use it for this. Its a bit of a dealbreaker full stop as it highlights poor quality control on the software and I won't be going back to any future Realme phone because of it unless proven not to be an issue.

                    Aftermarket support in Europe is also not great, they don't offer rollback software in Europe, but do in India for example.

                    Frustratingly, the RealmeUI OS is very similar to Oppo's ColorOS, as they (and Oneplus) are fundamentally the same company, but something inside at least the GT2's RealmeUI is broken at a fundamental level.

                    Its incredibly frustrating, as my much older Snapdragon 865 Find X2 Pro actually performs better in gaming than the Snapdragon 888 in the Realme, which just should not be the case, as even the gaming toolbox is the same.

                              In the meanwhile I have the china version which is so frustrating to use here in the USA with T-Mobile.

                              But the battery is incredible. And it charges to 100% from 0 in like 10 minutes 🙆🏽‍♂️

                                      The end of May is already near and there are still no Realme GT3 announcements anywhere in the world if they are actually going to sell the device.

                                      And now, they are announcing their new Realme 11 series. I don't understand what Realme Global is doing.
