My GT Neo5 with Chinese ROM as well only shows notifications for native apps on always on display, when I go to apps, manage apps, system apps then choose aod, I find the notifications are set to deny and there is no way to enable them as the option is greyed out by the system.
    Are you facing the same issue? Any work arounds?

                  Rafe, 03 Oct 2023whats region lock?It's realme locking SIM cards outside of china in their Chinese rom phones(OnePlus and other Chinese companies are doing this but I'm not sure)
                  You can actually ask your countries realme customer support for the unlock code,buuut they will not respond sometimes

Better for the world.People will only stop buying Chinese phones under 1 condition, if the rest of the world is able to compete with Chinese technology and the value for money they provide on their phones, think as an unbiased consumer of what you're getting, what you're missing opposed to how much you're paying..
                          For me personally, I can afford the most expensive phone that Apple has ever produced, but I'll never pay 1000+ dollars for a phone with a production cost of around 300 dollars just for the sake of the brand and having a good camera, there are definitely better ways and reasons of wisely spending money..

                                      Does it have a built-in screen recorder that records video calls with sound on both sides? Because that's what I'm also looking for in a phone.

Also,you can probably use the GT3 screen protector for the GT5, because the screen size is probably the same,but the thinner bezels I'd watch out for
