I had BT headphones on and had pocketed my phone (Poco X3Pro 8/256GB) for less than a minute while I needed to fish something out of my pants' pocket. That was more than enough for some sc0undrel to recognize his occasion, manoeuver himself into my blind side, deftly lift it from my jacket side-pocket and disappear in the thick friday late afternoon crowd in the wait-hall of the station... I noticed it was gone just as the sound started to fade out of my BT headphones -but by then of course it was way too late to spot the thief amongst the crowd of commuters and students going home for the weekend... :'(

YJohnny, 09 Dec 2023Really? I'm planning to purchase this as soon as it la... moreUsually Chinese variants (especially for non-flagship models) will cut on a lot of network bands to cut cost (but they all met Chinese network regulations - meaning no matter what phone you buy in China, they will always work with SIM cards for all carriers in China). Previously falgship models tend to have more bands to have better support on global network, but not for Realme GT5 Pro. They have cut almost half of available LTE bands fron it, making it a lot less usable on a global level. For example, since T-Mobile in US primarily uses band 2, 4, 12 and 66 for LTE network, and this phone supports NONE of the bands, it's essentially useless for you if your SIM carrier is T-Mobile or any MVNO that utilizes T-Mobile network. So I would highly suggest you check the network overlap between your carrier and this phone before hitting the purchase button.
