Realme GT5 Pro is here with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, periscope zoom camera

The Realme GT5 Pro makes its Chinese debut today and it's a proper flagship, sharing more than a few components with the OnePlus 12.
Ticking inside is the newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and it's paired with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. For cooling, the GT5 Pro comes with a 12,000mm2 vapor chamber.
The Realme GT5 Pro is a pretty thing in its vegan leather back coming in Red Rock and Bright Moon colors. There's a textured glass-finished Starry Night as well.

Upfront the Realme GT5 Pro has a 6.78-inch 2780x1264px AMOLED display with a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz, a touch sampling rate of 2,160Hz, and a bonkers 4,500 nit maximum brightness. The entire panel will be able to shine up to 1,000 nits under manual control, and 1,600 nits with auto brightness. There's a fingerprint scanner embedded into the panel as well.
Like the OnePlus 12, the Realme GT5 Pro has a larger-than-most 5,400 mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support.

The main camera is identical to what the OnePlus 12, has, but the other two on the back differ. The main camera uses the 50 MP LYT-808 1/1.4-inch sensor and 23mm f/1.69 lens. The periscope zoom camera has a far larger 50 MP IMX890 1/1.56-inch sensor with a 65mm f/2.6 lens in front - matching the Oppo Find X6 Pro. Then there's an 8MP f/2.2 fixed-focus ultrawide camera with a 1/4.0-inch sensor, which is a significant downgrade.

Remember the Galaxy S5's Air Gestures? Well, the Realme GT5 Pro also has a similar set of gestures, including a palm unlock gesture that Realme says is just as secure as face unlock (though not as secure as a biometric option).

Finally, the Realme GT5 Pro has Dolby Atmos-tuned stereo speakers, a sophisticated linear vibration motor for superior haptics, and is IP64 rated for full dust protection, and protection against splashes of water.
The Realme GT5 Pro will go on pre-order today and will begin shipping on December 14. As a bonus, Realme will bundle a pair of Realme Buds Classic Edition 2 and will offer CNY 100 ($15, €13, INR 1,200) as credit for other purchases from its online store in China. With the discount applied, the 12/256GB model is CNY 3,298 (€430, INR 38,680), the 16/256GB is CNY 3,598 (€470, INR 42,260), the 16/512GB is CNY 3,898 (€510, INR 45,700), and the 16GB/1TB top-shelf model is CNY 4,198 (€550, INR 49,245).

Actually we had that Nokia n95 most high end and revolutionary phone at time I paid around 600 USD... Samsung flagships also costed around 600 USD. Than came Apple and destroyed market.
