crowleyster, 18 Feb 2024My beloved community. What would you choose (february 2024)... moreGo for Poco F5 if it's within your budget. It comes with two years warranty as well.
Or else go for Poco X6 pro.
Don't go for redmi note 13 series as it is highly overpriced. Avoid poco X6 as well.

The phone is perfect on paper, in practice it is not. My previous phone was a Huawei P30 and I broke it and had to replace it. I was looking for a phone with a good processor and a 3.5mm jack. The P30 had a smaller battery, but it lasted much longer than the Realme and the camera is ok for most users, but it was a downgrade at least for me, the macro camera is completely pointless, the wide angle camera has no autofocus. 120hz drains the battery even faster and I used it at 60 hertz so that it could last at least 5-6 hours of browsing (not for gaming). In League of legends Wild rift, despite the powerful processor, the frames dropped to 40 and the phone heated up a lot. Diablo immortal was almost unplayable, a constant stutter. For everything else, the phone is very fast and the 65 watt charger is a big bonus. I am sorry for my bad English.

My beloved community. What would you choose (february 2024) being given:
1) POCO X6 12/256
2) Redmi Note 13 Pro 8/256 5G
3) Realme GT 8/128 5G
Interested in your opinion :)

Who, 01 Mar 2023Excellent performance! Extremely fast phone for that kind o... moreNormal use is ok, but sucks if gaming heavily or use heavily, battery will drain fast, overheating. The 65W charging is proprietary and it is a love and hate, only can get 65W with it's proprietary charger and cable. Out of it, it is just restrict to 18W. Well, at least with some other brand of smartphone, I can get 27W with USB-PD. I think the best thing about this phone is still retain the age old 3.5mm jack. Then, this phone is not officially sold at my country, would be pretty much very hard to get repaired if anything happen to the phone.

Anonymous, 08 Jan 2023Yes, this phone is pretty much a gaming device. Fastest cpu... moreI think POCO F3 is pretty much the better choice at that time. The SD888 does overheat, while not much out perform the SD870 inside POCO F3. Despite the UI is clean, it does has that weird lag, maybe is due to the ColorOS UI. Battery life is not great, just ok. I think the best iteration would be the GT Neo 3, which is much more balance, and has good camera. Yes, for it's time, it is among the cheapest SD888, but SD888 is a heating disaster if heavy and prolong gaming.

Great performance, great styling (I got yellow one) but you have to leave it naked - without silicone cover. Software has flaws: Wifi turns on itself sometimes, Ring sound starts ringing quietly first and then increases gradually. That is not optional!
Proximity sensor stopped working after 1 year of use. I installed another Dialer app to keep screen on while ringing. Sound is a bit quiet. Power button is exactly opposite of the volume buttons, which can be a problem. Phone camera is mediocre. Built quality is very good. Automatic software updates are working in some countries only. In mine I had to manually download it and install it.

Excellent performance! Extremely fast phone for that kind of money. Yellow is very stylish, back side is not smooth, but feels like leather. Battery life is 2 full days with a lot of onscreen time. Camera is mediocre, 64Mpix is more noisy than 12mpix mode (regular photo mode), but you can crop a lot. There is a lot of bloatware added, so I needed 2 hours to get rid of it, thanks to a Reddit article. Basically you can safely remove anything which is not native to Android stock rom and it still works just fine (but gets even snappier and extends battery life!). Charger is monstrous, cable is thick and only 50cm long. Sound is pretty quiet. I have to keep it at max volume all the time to hear rings. It uses both bottom speaker and ear speaker for music playback and lacks bass. Screen is color accurate, but a bit darkish. For me It works perfectly fine at 60Hz, 120hz are a bit of overkill. I hope they release Android 13 which will make it last at least until 2025.

nickmane, 04 Aug 2022the phone's camera is a big dissapointment. in it'... moreYes, this phone is pretty much a gaming device. Fastest cpu (at the time of release), fast charging, decent screen and low price. I'm pretty sure it was the cheapest sd888 phone that came out. Plus most phones at this price range have mediocre camera quality. This phone is for a specific group of buyers, not that much of an all rounder
