Fulbrighty , 29 Oct 2024Cant wait for thisDon't wait for this. Get a GT 6. 8MP UW is shame! And you don't need a laptop CPU in a phone man.

8MP Ultrawide? Seriously? Who clicks someone else's portraits as often as we click UW pictures? Anything below 20MP Ultrawide should be banned now. Nothing makes things better (the brand, I mean). Yes, SW does play a role but 8MP is goddamn low man. There was this one Realme phone that had 960FPS slow-mo video recording. I wonder why don't newer phones have it. We don't need 24GB RAM, 12 is more than enough. Rather give us Glass back, Reverse Wireless Charging, GREAT ultrawide camera, and that's it. The price is anyway gonna be as much as an entry-level gaming laptop.

Esims, 30 Oct 2024They're as slow as a turtle on the esim functionality.... moreIt'll have an eSIM, every phone of this grade will.

Another big, fat and heavy device. I don't go for this type of mobile. Massive screens are boring and unwielding. Better to have a compact and light device that fits in your pocket and is more comfortable to use.

Their phones don't support it for the most part.

A great device, but won't be getting it because....no esim!

Guys gsmarena doesn't show list e-sim support for either chinese or global version. Do you have any experience on that ?..Does older phones of Realme GtXX have e-sim support ?

Super agree on this. Their customer service is crappy. They even confuse on what they are trying to explain sometimes.

For pro's I Can only recommend Xiaomi, maybe motorola and ok Sony allows bootloader unlock too. That's pretty much it. Samsung too but nobody likes Samsung lol.

I get 4 years of updates and all chinese devices ive used in the last 6 years have generally been the most consistent with hardware AND software, especially huawei and oppo. All my friends and families iphones and galaxy phones are either just rubbish to use (either the feel of the phone or just software design) or are low end samsung devices that don't get updates anymore and are super laggy, never had this issue with the redmi note 5 a.i DC back in like 2017-2018.

My friends pixel 7 is as buggy and poor battery life as the P6P i had, thats all samsung hardware so REALLY its someone had bad luck with a product or some cached data on your phone from an app update is probably causing conflict which will happen on an iphone to samsung to pixel to oppo to xiaomi to any device currently on the market.

In the ad the camera is mentioned f/1.0 not f/1.9 as told above.

Phones these days need constant polishing (updates). Chinese brands simply do not do that. Especially in mid-low brands, even in high-end brands. So they just throw newest chipset in your face, though such phone doesn't even need it. And increase price to idiotic values (EU, USA...). But you end up with bugs, bad camera, mid battery and no reaction from company even if big problem appears (foggy lens in Xiaomi 14 f.ex).

Does the Realme GT7 Pro have a built-in screen recorder that records video calls with sound on both sides? Because that's what I'm also looking for in a phone.
