bubba, 11 Feb 2023another punch hole phone no thanksThat's literally found in all mobile phones. Now which path are you even going? The trashy Sony path? The gaming phone path? Nah, they cost too much.

joe nodden, 11 Feb 2023Just ignore Samsung at this point. 😂 Meh OK.
              But i like your style.

AnoM, 10 Feb 2023USB2.0 is not a problem for many since many don't use ... morenearby share is still equivalent to usb 2.0 in terms of speed.
lets just say i transferred 1.8gb worth of video recordings to another device, and i just waiting for 5 and a half minutes.. and its just done, all of the videos i transferred was in downloads folder. but i dont like that. not sure how to save to another folder though. like movies for videos and dcim/pictures for photos..

Anonymous, 10 Feb 2023He can't, because they don't exist. He's one... moreHe's actually kinda right. The cheapest phone with the 8 Gen 2 is the Nubia Z50 at $468.

The cheapest I can find this for is $437. I mean they trade blows in other aspects so idk if you can really say one is objectively better than the other. If it were me I'd probably get the Z50. Because he is kinda right about the thermal issues with the 8+ Gen 1. It's nowhere near as bad as the 888 and 8 Gen 1 but it's still not perfect.

Pricing may be different in other countries btw.

koregano, 10 Feb 2023can you name one phone with a similar price and a gen 2 chip?He can't, because they don't exist. He's one of those fanboys that are constantly mad and have to make up stuff to feel better about their purchases.

The closest competitor to this phone is the Lenovo Legion Y70 which has similar features (8+ Gen 1, High refresh rate AMOLED display, etc...) and costs around the same if you pick up the Chinese version (which has poor English integration, as many parts of the interface fail to translate and show mandarin characters instead).

However, it lack a proper wide angle camera and lack a proper telephoto camera, having a useless macro camera, Nlno wireless charging, no proper IP rating.
If you can accept these then the price is an unmatched killer.
I know many will complain on the small internal storage option and limited option for storage, no headphone jack, no Micro SD slot, smaller battery compared to others.
