      240W... Where will it stop? I will be very suprised if they continue to develop for more than 300W.

      I think after reaching 300W, engineers should focus on wireless charge for 120W-200W and then long range (LR) charge for 10W-50W.

          this is beyond stupid. 67W is enough. the redmi note 12 lineup has a model that trades 700mah capacity for 210W charging capability - i'd take the 120W or 67W models with larger batteries any day.

          hell, if every halving of the charging speed meant +1000mAh capacity i'd comfortably live with a 7000mAh 33W charging device.

            240 Watts is starting to sound a little crazy. I though 65 watts was pretty fast charging, back in 2020 120 watt charging was crazy. Now my gaming laptop with it's 150watt power brick is quivering

              For those saying 120W and above is safe for battery, it isn't really, no matter what companies say. It's in their interest for you to change the device sooner, also, there's a reason why THAT fast charging is disabled by default. Even when you go to turn it on, it says phone can get warm and we all know increased temperatures, decrease battery life overall.

              So no, it's not safe. If you prefer to hold onto the device for longer, I'd advise turning fast charging off, but if you change your device every 2 years or less, I recommend using fast charging as you'll replace device before battery really goes bad.

                Answer me this.
                If fas charging is unsafe why the only companies which had battery or chaging issues past 5 years or since 2017 when dash charger came to the world been Samsung and Apple which does not even uses fast charging technology and their up to 18W charging speeds really sucks.
                In case of Apple is 20W/2A for their dual cell phoe battery which means both batteries are charged at 10W/1A which is painfully slow.

                        whatever wattages you can charge your phone or how fast is it, you still cant defeat a removable battery as it can only remove and mount a fullycharge battery in seconds

                          There will be another dimensity 8200 version, I want it for 16 / 1TB, but I didn’t understand, what is really USB 2.0 there? Seriously??? How much 4K video will be copied over cable. Well, the lack of a memory card is very sad, I always warmly put my realme 8 Pro in, how good it was.
