Realme GT Neo units worth CNY100 million sold in 10 seconds in first sale
The Realme GT Neo introduced last week went on its first sale in China today, and Realme announced it sold units worth CNY100 million in 10 seconds across different sales channels, which translates to around $15 million at current exchange rates. However, Realme didn't reveal which model sold the most. The GT Neo comes in three memory variants - 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 12GB/256GB priced at CNY1,799 ($275/€230), CNY1,999 ($305/€255), and CNY2,299 ($350/€295), respectively.
The Realme GT Neo is powered by the Dimensity 1200 SoC and boots Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 on top. The smartphone packs a 6.43" 120Hz FullHD+ Super AMOLED screen with a fingerprint reader underneath for password-less unlocking.
For photography, the GT Neo has a total of four cameras on board - a 16MP shooter inside the punch hole, with the 64MP primary camera on the back joined by an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro units.
Keeping the entire package up and running is a 4,500 mAh battery, which draws power through a USB-C port at up to 50W. Although Realme bundles a 65W adapter with the GT Neo.
