[deleted post]They didn't even put a superior MTK chip to make up for it. You only buy an MTK phone if it offers a significant upgrade to SD phones at its price range, like with the case of the Poco X6 Pro and Poco F5 (D8300 Ultra vs SD 7+ Gen 2).
There's absolutely no reason to buy an MTK phone if there's a phone with a more powerful SD chip at the same price range. In this case, SD 7s Gen 3 found in the Poco X6 offers at least 10% more power than D7050. This phone should've either been $50 cheaper or come with a Dimensity chip more powerful than the SD 7s Gen 3.

The processor in this phone is actually weaker than the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 found in the Poco X6, which makes the Poco the clear winner for me. This phone clearly trades performance for a shiny design and a relatively clean software experience, but this is not a tradeoff I'm willing to take.
Not a bad phone overall, just underpowered for the price range. They should have went with an SD 7s Gen 3 or at least a Dimensity 1080.

200 eur for a 120 hertz screen where apple for 5 times as much gives only 60 Hz.
