What about Software support how many years Realme gives. Usually thier support is 2-3 yrs not more than that .

    Not being sarcastic, I'm genuinely curious. I've been flashing ROMs for 10 years now, Xda is the biggest forum for sharing these ROMs. I know there are telegram groups, but those aren't really "forums".

    Is there a hidden community of custom ROMs that I don't know yet?

I'm mainly referring to Xiaomi's midrange models.

      And then there are the semi-recent phones that still retain a very active ROM community.

      Yes, I will buy these new phones and be happy with it. But no, I won't forget custom ROMs.

      ROM flashing, and therefore rooting, is still a luxurious privilege for Android enthusiasts. It would be very unfortunate to lose this privilege.

      I would like to own at least one semi-recent phone capable of ROM flashing and rooting.

Just take a look at XDA : only older devices are still supported with the same issue and many recognized developpers are leaving the scene (after 10 years of activity there)

                  Don't waste your time on that ... invest instead on an excellent flagship and forget custom ROMs !
