Realme Q will be water resistant, probably MIL-STD-810G certified as well

The leaked photos of the Realme Q and its retail box didn’t tell the whole story – this will be better than just a rebadged Realme 5 Pro. Official teaser posters show that the phone will have a more rugged exterior while keeping the same Snapdragon 712 chipset and 48MP camera as the Pro.

The Realme Q promises to survive the 100°C water boiling tests that you may have seen on YouTube. This also entails standard water and dust resistance “beyond the price segment”.

The other key spec revealed in the first poster is that the phone has been rated to survive drops from 1.8m (this sounds like a MIL-STD-810G rating).

The remaining three posters repeat what we already know: Snapdragon 712 chipset, 48MP camera, 20W VOOC fast charging.

I call bs. The IP certification is actually really cheap, and you pay once and that's it. It works out to be pennies, or upto a dollar. And the revenue from the bloatware usually is minimal as well, since, no OEM actually makes much profit from the...
