Realme shares more details on the GT 8 Pro’s Ricoh-tuned camera
Realme is set to unveil its GT 8 series later this month, and the GT 8 Pro will be the first smartphone to feature a custom Ricoh Imaging tuning as part of the newly formed Realme x Ricoh Imaging partnership effort. The two brands will host a dedicated event tomorrow, where they will provide more details on their collaborative efforts, but we have some new info ahead of the keynote.
Intuitive Algorithm Engine aims to eliminate common smartphone photography faults like over-sharpening, over-saturation, and over-smearing. Realme also shared that you can expect RAW-level pixel processing for maximum image data, full 10-bit color depth, and ultra-sense HDR for natural light and shadow balance.
We also get confirmation that the GT 8 Pro will be compatible with Ricoh GR's full-frame equivalent focal lengths of 28mm and 40mm.

GT 8 Pro will feature Ricoh GR's iconic photography tones. These include five options - Positive, Negative, High-contrast Black & White, Standard, and Monochrome.
In addition, Realme GT 8 Pro will feature a Ricoh GR series-inspired immersive viewfinder mode that hides all camera UI elements, leaving just a framing box for a more traditional camera experience.
Based on a previous leak, Realme GT 8 Pro will feature a 50MP main camera armed with a 1/1.5" type LYT-70 sensor alongside a 200MP (ISOCELL HP5) periscope telephoto, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens.
