Realme UI 4.0 will make its global debut on December 8, here are the highlights
The Realme 10 Pro and 10 Pro+ launched in China at the end of November. They arrived with Realme UI 4.0 out of the box, making them the first to run Realme’s take on Android 13. Now the duo is preparing to go global on December 8, which will also be the global debut of Realme UI 4.0.
Hold on, didn’t the Realme GT2 Pro get Android 13 a month ago? It did, but the version of the skin remained at Realme UI 3.0. Here a few reasons that GT2 Pro owners should be jealous of users who will be running version 4.0.
Realme has embraced a card-based design so that everything is intuitively grouped together. This makes sure that essential information is in its own compartment instead of having to share room with less important info.
The Always-On Display has been revamped to offer a more personalized experience. There are interactive panels, customized recommendations and emoji animations.
The new Dynamic Computing Engine will boost overall performance by 10%, according to Realme. Efficiency will be improved too, gamers can expect 4.7% longer battery life and lower peak temperatures (by 1°C).
Another new feature is the Private Safe tool, which can encrypt your data. Additionally, the Auto Pixelate feature will automatically detect sensitive information in images anonymize it.
The global launch of the Realme 10 Pro and 10 Pro+, as well as Realme UI 4.0, is this Thursday. You can check out Realme’s official Android 13 early access roadmap for a guideline on when older models will be updated (note: the timeline doesn’t mention whether the phones are getting Realme UI 4.0 or 3.0).
