Redmi 8 and Note 8 Pro get new color options

Xiaomi has announced two new color variants for the Redmi 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro in China, called Phantom Red and Twilight Orange, respectively.

The new colors will go on sale in China starting tomorrow at 10 AM local time. The Redmi 8 will arrive in a single 4GB/64GB configuration priced at CNY799 ($115/€105), whereas the Note 8 Pro will be available in two memory options - 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB priced at CNY1,399 ($200/€180) and CNY1,599 ($230/€205).

The Redmi 8 is powered by the Snapdragon 439 SoC and comes with a 6.22" HD+ LCD, dual rear cameras (12MP+2MP), and a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging. You can head over here to check out its detailed specs.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro, on the other hand, has a Helio G90T SoC at the helm and sports a 6.53" FHD+ LCD. The smartphone comes with a 64MP quad camera and has a 4,500 mAh battery under the hood having 18W fast charging support. The snapdragon 4 series should be discontinued.... It's too slow for 2020.

Yes, totally awesome colours :D Why can't we get such great colours on a flagship? The best so far is the Amber Sunrise on the P30, pretty much everything else is either lame or just plain ugly.
