Redmi is working on two Turbo 4 phones with new chipsets
According to popular tipster Digital Chat Station, Redmi Turbo 4 and Turbo 4 Pro are in the works, and they both will come with chipsets that are yet to be announced.
He claims they will feature Dimensity 8400 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, respectively, and will stick to the current trend of flat displays.
The Redmi Turbo 4 and Turbo 4 Pro should both come with new battery technology, which allows for a battery capacity of over 6,000 mAh without compromising the device's internal architecture.
The Turbo brand is a spinoff of the Redmi Note Turbo phones, aiming to be a "performance flagship series" - phones that sit between the top-tier K lineup and the Note midrangers. The Turbo 3 (which was the first one) did arrive with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, and it is only logical for the Turbo 4 to have a fourth-gen Snapdragon platform.
We should point out that there was a Redmi K70E with Dimensity 8300, which means we might see the K80E moved to the Turbo family with a new name.
None of these names mean anything outside of the Chinese market, as the Redmi K70E and Redmi Turbo 3 arrived as Poco X6 Pro and Poco F6. It is only logical to see the Turbo 4 duo launch as Poco phones on the international scene.
