Redmi K80 Pro appears on Geekbench

Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi K80 series in China soon. Some leaks suggested the Pro phone will be super powerful, featuring the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and today, we have a confirmation of its raw performance.

The smartphone appeared on Geekbench, where it scored 2,753 for a single core and 8,460 for multiple cores - results that are in line with other phones' CPU benchmarks.

The smartphone with model number 24122RKC7C will boot Android 15 out of the box, and it appears that Redmi will once again bring a 16 GB RAM version. The chipset was confirmed to be the new Qualcomm flagship with its 2x4.32 GHz Oryon V2 Phoenix L + 6x3.53 GHz Oryon V2 Phoenix M cores.

Both the Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro are said to have 6.67" screens with up to 120 Hz refresh rate and IP68 water and dust resistance. We also heard that the Redmi K series might finally come with wireless charging, but we have to wait for the Xiaomi brand to share more details in the following weeks.

Dimensity 9400 on the IQOO neo 10 pro. The main camera and ultrawide will be the same level. Redmi should have an extra telephoto albeit a not very good telephoto. Definitely the Redmi k80 pro is likely to be a bit more expensive though

It's gonna get smaller from now on... You wanna big phone, buy foldable, dual fold, triple fold, and perhaps quad fold
