Redmi K80 Ultra's battery grows

Last we heard anything about it, the Redmi K80 Ultra was going to sport a battery capacity of at least 6,500 mAh. But that was in January. Today we have a new rumor out of China that narrows it down further. The K80 Ultra's battery will be 7,400 mAh or 7,500 mAh, undoubtedly thanks to the use of Si/C tech.
The handset is once again said to be powered by the yet-unannounced Dimensity 9400+ SoC from MediaTek (which should also be in the vivo X200s), and it will have a 6.8-inch "1.5K" LTPS OLED flat screen with symmetrical bezels all-round.

The frame will be metal, and the camera island will be circular and placed in the upper left corner of the back. The Redmi K80 Ultra will support 100W wired charging. Past rumors also mentioned an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
The K70 Ultra arrived in July of last year, so we might still be quite a ways off from the K80 Ultra's official launch. In the meantime, undoubtedly new rumors about it will surface, so stay tuned.
