Redmi Note 12 in for review
The Redmi Note 12 series made their European debut earlier this week and now they are marching into our office one by one. Having welcomed the Redmi 12 Pro it’s now time to say 'Hi' to the 5G member of the Redmi Note 12 duo.
The Redmi Note 12 5G is only the second smartphone to use the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset and the first one we are able to test, so it will be interesting to see how that chipset perform. Arguably as important as its pure speed is how well it works with the 48MP main and 8MP ultrawide cameras to maximize their image quality.
The 6.67” 120Hz OLED screen sounds very promising on paper and we are eager to check how long it can stretch the 5,000mAh battery capacity. But before we set off for our lab let’s do a quick unboxing.
We got the fresh Forest Green color of the Redmi Note 12, but you can also find it in cool Ice Blue and the somewhat boring Onyx Gray. The box also contains the 33W charger needed to support the maximum charging rate of the phone, a USB-C cable and a see-through plastic case.
That’s three more useful accessories than you’d get in the box of a Galaxy S23 Ultra or an iPhone 14 Pro Max, but such are the times.

With the unboxing out of the way, let’s hand the Redmi Note 12 over to our review team and see what they have to say about it. Keep watching this space!

Which version of the ram did you buy, 4gb will still be hanging and slow but from 6gb upward is good. For me I have not encountered any major problems
