200,000 Redmi Note 7 units sold in first India flash sale

Yordan, 07 March 2019

Redmi Note 7 arrived in India last week and the phone had its first flash sale today. According to the company, the campaign was a massive success with over 200,000 smartphones moved in a few minutes.

The Redmi Note 7 is not the same smartphone as the one available in China and currently up for pre-order in Spain. The Indian variant brings 12 MP + 2 MP main camera setup to maintain the low price tag of INR9,999 ($142/€127) for the 3/32 GB variant. There is also a 4/64 GB option, but it would set you back INR11,999 (around $170/€150).

The Indian phone has another major difference from its Global sibling - it does not come in Gradient colors, you can pick between Onyx Black, Sapphire Blue and Ruby Red.

The next flash sale is scheduled for March 13 exactly at noon, when the Redmi Note 7 Pro will be launched too for INR13,999 ($199/€175).
