Xiaomi's Redmi Note 8 Pro got official for China at the end of August, pairing great specs with a very affordable price as is par for the course for this line of devices, and now it's finally landing in Europe as well.

The phone will become available in Spain through Xiaomi's online store and AliExpress. The recommended retail prices are €249 for the version with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and €269 if you need 128GB of space for your stuff (the RAM remains the same 6GB in this model). For the first 24 hours, you'll be able to grab the entry-level model for just €229, saving a cool €20 if you act fast enough.

It's powered by the MediaTek G90T chipset, with an octa-core CPU clocked up to 2.05GHz and the ARM Mali-G76 GPU with a max frequency of 800MHz. For the first time in a Redmi Note, there's LiquidCool technology built-in, to facilitate less frame drops in intensive gaming sessions.

The phone has four rear cameras. A 64 MP primary sensor uses a quad bayer filter to capture 16 MP photos with 1.6μm equivalent pixel size. On the front there's a 20 MP selfie snapper.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro is available in Europe in Mineral Grey, Pearl White, and Forest Green. Its lights are kept running by a 4,500 mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging through USB-C. The handset also boasts NFC support, an IR blaster, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. We're already working on our review of the Redmi Note 8 Pro, so stay tuned for that.
