Redmi Pad 2 Pro leaks in promo images, here are its specs

Redmi launched the Pad 2 in June, and now it seems like the brand is almost ready to introduce the Pad 2 Pro as the successor to the original Redmi Pad Pro from last year.

A new leak reveals some of the tablet's features alongside the promo images you can see below. It will have a 12.1-inch touchscreen with 120Hz refresh rate and "2.5K" resolution.

There will be two 8MP cameras, one on the front, one on the rear, a 3.5mm headphone jack, quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support and "300% volume boost".

The tablet is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage, and has a 12,000 mAh battery with 33W wired charging and 27W reverse wired charging. It will be offered in Graphite Gray. The Redmi Pad 2 Pro weighs 890g.

It's unclear exactly when it will become official, but Xiaomi is holding the 15T series launch event next week, on September 24, and that's the earliest that this tablet can be unveiled.
