Redmi pokes fun at the OnePlus Ace 3V, says 8 is better than 7

Earlier today, OnePlus launched the Ace 3V in China, with the brand new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset at the helm. It is in fact the first handset to bear this newly announced SoC.

Redmi isn't impressed, however. Its official Weibo account posted the image you can see below in response. It clearly states that 8 is better than 7, and this isn't a subtle jab at all. Basically, Redmi is telling us that the Snapdragon 8 series chipsets outperform those in the 7 series.

And wouldn't you know it, coincidence of all coincidences, Redmi itself will launch a new device powered by a Snapdragon 8 series SoC next month! Specifically, we're talking about the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which was made official last week. This could be the Redmi Note 13 Turbo, rumored to be sold internationally as the Poco F6.

Obviously, Redmi has faith in its upcoming product and thinks it will be better than the OnePlus Ace 3V, at least when it comes to the chipset used. In fact, Redmi promises to "reshape the mid-range performance" with this device. So we're keen to find out more about it in April. Stay tuned.

Then get a Samsung, nobody wants to hear you crying about Samsung being superior or something but let people use phones they like. Not all people like a Galaxy, man
