Redmi shows the K80 Pro in official images, confirms launch date
Redmi is 11 years old now, and to celebrate that milestone it has introduced a new logo, which is red and all-caps. This new brand identity apparently represents courage and confidence.
The brand has confirmed that it's launching the K80 series on November 27, and it's also released these official images of the K80 Pro.
Redmi says the phone has a 1.9mm "ultra narrow" bottom bezel, a 50:50 top-down weighting, and the screen will have "2K" resolution, circular polarization, DC dimming across the full brightness scale (so no need for PWM at all), and there will also be an embedded ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
The Pro is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It's been rumored to support 120W wired and 50W wireless charging, while the vanilla model will have to make do with 90W and 30W, respectively. Also expect both models to come with IP68 dust and water resistance.
