Redmi Turbo 3 video teardown reveals all of its innards
The Redmi Turbo 3 got official yesterday as the Xiaomi sub-brand's most high-end offering, boasting the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC at the helm. And already, there is a video teardown of it courtesy of WekiHome. We've embedded it below for your viewing pleasure, don't forget to hit the "CC" button to get English subtitles as the video is in Chinese (naturally, since the device has so far only been launched in that market).
The video presents a very in-depth, yet rapid-paced look at all of the Turbo 3's innards, starting with the plastic back which is removed first, and then slowly proceeding more and more into it.
We get to see the internal positioning of all the main parts, including the cameras, the battery, the NFC coil, top speaker, the ring-like LED flash, the mainboard, SoC, IR blaster, mics, LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 ROM, Xiaomi's self-developed Surge P2 charging IC, the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module, the ambient light sensor, the sub-board and bottom speaker, USB port, X-axis linear vibration motor, and finally the screen covered by Gorilla Glass Victus and the vapor chamber keeping things cool.
There's an interesting "boost chip" inside that comes into play when the battery voltage goes below a specific level that would normally not allow the screen to power on anymore - all of this in order to eek out some more juice. This has a larger effect the lower the ambient temperature is.
While the Redmi Turbo 3 is unlikely to ever launch outside of China, we wouldn't be surprised to see it internationally rebranded as a Poco. In fact, it has been rumored to make the journey overseas bearing the name Poco F6.

nice specs, reminds me of the Redmi Note 12T Pro or cheap killer flagships where it has monster chipset, with good enough display and camera. Poco F series above the X series-the X6 Pro has more premium specs than this so this is not an F series phon...

Ok my mistake. So they lost the jack from F3 while still had on F2 and brought back in F5 so now that they removed it again then there is probably no hope of getting it back in the future. Well i hope my next phone be flip phone as something 4-5...
