Report: Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7 and Z Flip7 FE demo units will ship to stores soon

Samsung is expected to launch three foldables in early July: the Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7 and Z Flip7 FE. A few weeks ago we heard that Samsung had started mass production and things appear to be progressing on schedule as Max Jambor reports that the company is preparing to ship demo units to stores.

As with the previous report, it’s these three classic foldables, the rumored tri-fold model is nowhere to be seen. That might join in later, similar to how the Galaxy S25 Edge trailed the main trio.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 FE apparently weighs 187g, according to the shipping manifest. That’s the same weight as last year’s Z Flip6 to the gram. The FE is expected to have a design close to that old model with the smaller 3.4” cover display, while the Z Flip7 will feature an edge-to-edge cover display.

Renders: Galaxy Z Fold7 • Galaxy Z Flip7 • (possibly) Galaxy Z Flip7 FE

These two will have something in common, though, both will use Exynos chipsets – Exynos 2500 for the more premium flip and the older Exynos 2400 for the FE (and not the 2400e). The only exceptions to that will be North America and China, where the Z Flip7 will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite. We’ve seen evidence of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 powered Z Flip7 FE, so that might follow a similar strategy. The Galaxy Z Fold7 will be quite thin and will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite globally, at least based on current info.

Anyway, once the new Galaxy foldables reach stores, we can expect to see more leaks coming out.
