Report says Moto Z2 Play will be slimmer, pack in smaller battery compared to Z play

We have already seen the Motorola Moto Z2 Play in leaked renders, and now some spec-related information about the device has been revealed. According to a new report, the phone will feature a slimmer frame compared to its predecessor.

Report says the Z2 Play would be 6mm thick, which is a millimeter less compared to the Z Play. Not only this, at 145g, it will also be 20g lighter than its predecessor. However, the handset will pack in a comparatively smaller battery: 3,000mAh (Z Play featured a 3,510mAh battery).
Other key specs that have been rumored include Snapdragon 626 SoC with octa-core 2.2GHz CPU, 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage. Like its predecessor, the Z2 Play will also feature a 5.5-inch full HD display. And finally, the camera department will be handled by a 12-megapixel, f/1.7 module, and a 5MP front shooter.

Sony and Motorola used to be the STB champs back in 2013, remember Moto X and Xperia ZL (75% STB!!!), now they went backwards and are releasing phones with bigger bezels!

At Sony's slow snail pace they'll have a drastically reduced bezel smartphone in the next 5-10 years haha at least Moto will come to their senses much more earlier than them.

Why the hell did Lenovo downgrade the battery? Calling the phone Moto Play seems a bit ridiculous now.
