For me HTC ONE MAX is better, but the SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 3 is good for people
who love big phones

The s pen is a gr8 tool. I dont think any other options better than note3 in htc will compromise this

why i love samsung because first of all even other smartphones in the market has NON removable battery but still samsung didnt do the same thing so they stick on a removable battery and they got some edge from it.

I bought the HTC one max a couple of days ago as my upgrade from a Note 2. No regrets. Love the software and amazing battery life. The speakers are perfect for watching movies and the build quality better than Samsung by miles.
I did consider the note 3 but held it and found it tacky. I hardly used the pen so perhaps the note series was not for me. Also the Samsung had a silly sticker on warning that it can only be used in the EU? What's all that about and why isn't it mentioned in this article? I saw that and it just put me off . I want to use any SIM card in my phone anywhere and that's always a priority for people who travel frequently.
The camera is ok nothing special. General performance is excellent and the screen is a major selling point and I have no need to buy a tablet. Size wise there are no issues as it comfortably slips into my trousers or blazer pockets. Overall looks great and works flawlessly!

Hey folks read the introduction it made me smile and answers alot of questions the HTC One even the Max just LOOKS pretty yet for BETTER specifications Software Processor Ram etc the much BASHED Samsung is the winner with Galaxy S4 and Note 3

valid points that possibly some people might prefer a metal phone over what some are saying is cheap (polycarbonate).. but it doesn't fool me. Samsung are practically now being forced to change design because of idiots backslashing against polycarbonate plastic.. which is just as strong, LIGHTER and durable as a HTC ONE OR MAX. that's a real shame. why would ANYONE prefer a phone that is HEAVIER and that doesn't let you swap out a battery?!...
bottom line is that NOBODY should be choosing a phone that doesn't let you replace the battery. after a year the battery is not as good. after 2 years it's barely lading a day of STANDBY time. even if you get a new phone every 2 years.. giving your old phone to a family member will be useless with a terrible battery life! I have a Galaxy S2 which I gave to my wife with a NEW BATTERY and I now have the GALAXY S4! I like my Nexus 7 tablet.. but that will have the exact same problem as you can't change the battery. THIS is why Samsung are great! simple really!!
