A great disadvantage in this phone is actually its rotating camera and touch-pad on the back - YOU CAN'T PUT A PROTECTIVE CASE ON THIS PHONE!
If you'll put one, you couldn't use the touchpad, and you couldn't rotate the camera...
It's better NOT having a touchpad and a rotating camera, but still have a way to protect your precious device from accidental drops.

The best thing about this phone is the rotating camera. I read that the camera can only rotate to an angle of around 210 degrees but still interested to see how this really looks and works with the phone. Also no sure if this phone will be available in India some time soon. A couple of sites http://www.prodsea.com/Oppo-N1/mobiles-price-1003-1723 list it online but no sale as yet Really waiting for this phone to be available in India

Great phablet with powerful hardware and software. Judging from the battery test and quicker loading mentioned by GSM area, one must admit that CM put a lot of effort for this phone.

As expected the battery life performs amazingly. I saw this already at some other sites where this phone topped their battery tests

I think Oppo has done a great job on this one battery life and backside touch control is a win already. I hope they release a future version of this with better chipset and expandable memory that would be great...

there is actually a phone that both has 13.0 megapixels primary camera with LED flash and Autofocus and 13.0 megapixels secondary front camera (HD video recording) the THL W11 Monkey King if you don't mind going mediatek lol, I am using one the 2gb/32gb version, look here it's pretty cheap http://www.unbox.ph/gadget/thl-w11-monkey-king-review-superb-display-performance-and-selfie-shooter/ but I dont know if its available outside asia thru direct seller, but sure you can get one via online sellers...
There's already an upcoming Monkey King 2 using Octa cores early next year.

The battery life on this phone lasts nearly TWICE than the Nexus 5.

Truly took too long to release

That rotating camera... its good, but too risky!

I'm looking forward at least 1 manufacturer that can make a phone that has the same megapixel cam in front and back. It will cost much higher but at least you don't have to rotate and rotate and so on..

5.9 inches.. way too big. yeah one hand is imposible.. lol

But Oppo did a great job here though.. Snapdragon 600 can still fight with the latest snapdragon chipsets.
