If you buy other brands then be prepared to wait till kingdom come the fellas still not releasing any updates when Samsung already have bug fixes updates after the main updated version. yeah, 20 Dec 2013the z30 is not available everywhere, yet. BB is already dead. even carriers don't want to keep stock. It was at its peak in 2009 and 2010 but not anymore because they failed to innovate.
I opened my Maps in my Note 3 and in 3sec it pointed to my location and the map was opened. I also opened Maps in my BB9900 and it took more than 1min to open just a part of the darn map!
I opened both phones' web browser and opened Yahoo.com and my Note 3 had it fully opened in 2sec but after 2mins 30seconds of scrolling the BB browser became timeout! What the hell is wrong with BB? And do you guys think they are worth mentioning now amidst the powerhouse Androids and WP phones?

For my very first smartphone I got a brand new Nokia Lumia 820 in October 2013, in time for Christmas, for just £175 from Amazon, putting it within the £100-£200 price bracket. Essentially a Lumia 920 with expandable storage, removable battery and interchangable covers. Screen's WVGA but AMOLED, 8MP camera's not pureview but still on a par with the likes of the iPhone 4S/5 and comes with a dual LED flash. It's noticeably more compact than a 625 as well as a 920 too, putting it firmly within mini territory. Works great on WP8 Lumia Amber and will be getting Lumia Black soon. So how come, like the really old LG Optimus L3 in the sub-£100 bracket, it isn't mentioned as a good buy here?

Free satnav is available for Samsung Ativ S: Nokia's 'HERE' satnav app can be freely installed on any Windows phone in many countries including the Ativ.

Overall great review, although I suggest real world performance should count more than how new or dated a chipset is; Windows and iOS are much more efficient in using hardware resources and then there's the countles variations of Android.
While a typical Android 4.x device takes up ~250MB of RAM just for the system and fills the rest of it pre-loading stupid apps, Windows typically uses just 100 Mb and has a smaller app cache. If you are not gaming heavily or something, a windows phone with a dual core CPU and 1GB of RAM performs similar to an android phone with a quad core and 2GB of RAM.
