I hope that Nokia will release a global version of this phone WITH micro SD slot. 1520 is just too big for me but this phone would make me consider jumping the Android ship for Windows Mobile.

It indeed ticks all the boxes for a modern day flagship smartphone. Except that it is no smartphone. Pathetic to see such a capable and well built hardware limited by running a modified mp3player firmware.

And high end games require more power too. And maybe they plan on adding things....
Of course blind jealous fanboys will just say things like...oh its only for show.

Most of reviewers say that battery life is good.
Of course can't match Lumia 1520.

Windows Phone UI is GPU accelerated. It's buttery smooth with 1GB RAM. Scrolling is as smooth as you can get, like 60FPS.

Battery is good for many people. This must have a defective battery.

Text input on Windows Phone is only limited to the default QWERTY keyboard. Why would anyone make such a nice device without giving a consumer basic choice of a keyboard that is like a phone pad with alpha numeric. Deal breaker as not everyone wants to hit tiny buttons.

This is only for the brain-washed customers (=the more on the spec sheet the better).
Unfortunately the sw isn't soo polished (less work for programmers/developer) anymore because the manufacturer just put big chips inside and hope it will work well.

I do not think that the lack of a micro sd card slot is a disadvantage. It has 32 gb,which is enough in my opinion. It is hard nowadays for Nokia to come up with something attractive. We must not forget that the windows os is a pain in the a*s.
After a year with lumia 900 I said I had enough and now I'm glad I got rid of it.I believe it would be a nice techonologic exercise if they will come up with an android version. We shall see.Cheers

Nokia has hardly changed their phone design since the N9...n gets no heat for it...wonder why

Aside from that this offering, minus the battery life, seems solid
