I just call the Nokia care abt my N73 keypad light, they say it feature with one funtion on keypad. When you in a bright place like in the afternoon, the keypad light will not light up. When you at dark place like at night, the keypad light will on.
Is this true. find it strange when nokia care told me this.and there no way to turn off this function cos its build with it.

i just got the n73 and i love it. it is perfect for me because it is a well balanced mobile phone. as for the major setback (no wifi), it is not a major factor for me. in my opinion i'd rather go for n73 rather than n93.

i would eaither go for n73 or w850i.
1. N73 has 3d surround sound option while w850i is strong in sound clarity and amplify the sound nicely.
2. For camera phone - consider n73 or k800i
(PS: pls take note that n73 and n80 is a symbian phone and suit nicer with youngster as they can download applications easily and readily available from the net.
SE phone both are using SE software and limited in what you can download.)
3. All phones stated above have slight stability issue in its software which is minor to my judgement.
4. Battery performance - all phones stated above approx 1.5 - 2days on normal usage except n80 approx 1 day usage.
5. Design and material review - n73 and k800 joystick flimsy, n80 heavy and bulky, plasticky feel, slide up a bit stiff. w850i plasticky feel but firm to hold grip.
well, i hope that help to make your decision.
cheers!!!

N73 is a really amazing phone.. but there is one problem with it,, when someone in ur contact list calls you it hangs everytime.. but this thing could be removed by disabling the say caller name in profile... evrything else is just perfect...I love this phone.

well fisker, i too have heard tht the phone has some minor probs.. but every phone does when its released.. especially the ones from nokia.. but tht shldnt b tht big a worry.. these probs will b very minor ones which will b resolved through future firmware updates.. so i wldnt bother much abt these probs.. i myself am planning to buy a N73 soon.. have seen the phone and i loved it.. except for the looks which i thought cld have been better.. coz am using a N70 rite now and love the looks of the N70.
@ Bhusan.. N73 or K800, the choice depends on ur needs.. if u want an allround feature packed phone then n73 is the way to go.. but if ur on a budget and want a phone with a good cam and nothing else then go for the k800.. but the video recording on the k800 isnt comparable to n73.. N73 is much better than K800 in terms of video recording. If ur keen on installing 3-d games then go in for N73.. ull have more options with an N73 as its a smartphone.
