T2 has very low speaker and ear-speaker; the battery backup is best and doesn't hang like samsung. HD screen is okay but compatible with limited games only.
Scratches easily, second sim has poor reception(had two phones and both had the same problem).
3g reception is not stable. Earphones are low quality too.
Applications aren't transferable to the memory card and 8gb is not sufficient.
If youre an active whatsapp user it would be a problem.
Sony has to seriously consider the signal reception problems.

Anonymous, 10 May 2014Is it Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 or X-Reality that is present... moreDoesnt matter since it is best to keep them turned off anyway, they are both pretty bad, esp for photos, and for videos it easily starts looking as stupid as a Galaxy S3, too much colors. And for HD? The sharpening artifacts will be visible around parts of a foreground moving object against a stationary background, this is so easy to see on Bravia TVs that lots of people can tell in blind tests, me included. Harder to see on a mobile? Maybe, but not impossible and you are much closer to a mobile than to a TV.
I always keep it OFF on my Xperia phones, all of them, it really bothers me. I may add that i have years of training from working with video and can see things that many people will not notice. One example, for me a skipped frame in a video is like a car hitting a hole in the road when going 100, a big bump, while people around me doesnt notice anything at all.

Oh such a great phone with a big let down- the chipset. The price is high, just a bit lower than the humongus snapdragon 800 rocking Z ultra, they could have just put S4 pro or S600 and it could be a smart buy. Also the back is cheap feeling, they could have put aluminium like Xperia P or just high quality plastic like xperia SP or lumias.

the HDR photos don't look natural but they serve their purpose. they really show details you may miss in the normal modes. also, they look really pleasant.

makes me wonder why they are putting an ax on it on UK, seems like a modest phablet to me, if they price this around 300$ I will find it hard for it to not to sell.

Great battery life, great design, and great camera, Xperia T2 ultra is definitely the best mid range phablet in the market..
Sony finally gets right with image processing this time around, I've compared T2's camera to Note 3's and they are on par. T2's detail level is only a tiny bit lower than Note 3's but T2 has no image artifacts and its noise levels are lower..
Great job, sony..

Is it Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 or X-Reality that is present in T2 ultra? Since the link here mentions both X-Reality as well as Mobile Bravia Engine 2? Also is the difference huge?

Incredible battery life. However, terrible GPU benchmarks, even for a mid-ranger.
Maybe the crazy battery life is accounted to no power going to the GPU.
